A 13th fight has been added to next month’s UFC on FUEL TV 9 event with “The Ultimate Fighter 17? cast members Tor Troeng (15-4-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) vs. Adam Cella (4-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC).
Troeng confirmed the middleweight bout with Swedish news outlets, and Swedish MMA site mmanytt.se also reported it.
UFC on FUEL TV 9 takes place April 6 at Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, and the main card airs on FUEL TV following Facebook prelims.
Troeng and Cella, who both recently suffered knockout losses on “TUF 17,” likely will be part of the prelims.
Troeng, who fights in his home country, makes his UFC debut on the heels of a four-fight win streak on the European circuit. The 30-year-old was Chael Sonnen’s fourth-round pick on “TUF” but ultimately suffered a knockout loss to Josh Samman in the show’s sixth episode.
He takes on Cella, a Jon Jones’ team member who was on the receiving end of Uriah Hall’s highlight-reel knockout in the third episode. Before his time on the show, Cella had won all four of his pro fights via first-round stoppage.
