LAS VEGAS – UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and “The Ultimate Fighter 24” winner Tim Elliott came face-to-face (more or less) today in Las Vegas.
The two headliners for The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale were on stage as part of today’s Ultimate Media Day activities in Las Vegas. Johnson (24-2-1 MMA, 12-1-1 UFC) and Elliott (13-6-1 MMA, 2-4 UFC) meet in the main event of the event, which takes place Saturday at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The card airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
Also taking the stage were top flyweight contenders and opposing “The Ultimate Fighter 24” coaches Joseph Benavidez (24-4 MMA, 11-2 UFC) and Henry Cejudo (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC), welterweights Jake Ellenberger (31-11 MMA, 10-7 UFC) vs. Jorge Masvidal (30-11 MMA, 7-4 UFC) and featherweights Ryan Hall (5-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) vs. Gray Maynard (12-5-1 MMA, 10-5-1 UFC).
