The Speed Bag: Who's the bigger UFC star – Ronda Rousey or Conor McGregor?

Talk about a no-lose situation for the UFC, right? If the brass in Las Vegas had to sit around one day and argue over who its biggest star is, there’d really be no wrong answer.

Well, there’d be no wrong answer if the choices were Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor.

In the latest installment of The Speed Bag, Ben Fowlkes breaks down the resumes for each megastar to try to pin down just which one has more star power.

Is it McGregor, the featherweight champion who headlines UFC 205 by trying to become the first in history to hold two UFC belts at the same time when he takes on lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez?

Or is it Rousey, who lost her women’s bantamweight title in November 2015 in a massive upset – only to get arguably even more popular afterward? She returns to headline UFC 207 against new champ Amanda Nunes – the third woman to hold the title since Rousey lost it – and to try to get her crown back.
