The contest joins a developing fight bill that will be headlined by a middleweight matchup pitting native Kiwi James Te Huna against former title contender Nate Marquardt. The event streams live on UFC Fight Pass and will also see Hatsu Hioki collide with Charles Oliveira at featherweight.
Palelei rides an 11-fight winning streak into his clash with Rosholt, with three of those victories coming inside the Octagon. “The Hulk” last competed this past Saturday, knocking out South African talent Ruan Potts with violent ground-and-pound at UFC Fight Night “Brown vs. Silva.”
Rosholt debuted with the UFC last November, outpointing Walt Harris in a unanimous decision at “The Ultimate Fighter 18” finale. “The Big Show” then repeated the trick this past April, besting Daniel Omielanczuk at UFC Fight Night “Minotauro vs. Nelson” to halt the Pole’s 12-fight winning streak.
