Rob Kimmons

Middleweights Rob Kimmons and Dongi Yang are the latest and possibly the final addition to the UFC on Versus 3 fight card set to go down on March 3 in Louisville, Ky.

The fight was confirmed to MMAWeekly.com by sources close to the match-up on Monday, with bout agreements issued and signed for the middleweight contest.

Both Kimmons and Yang come into the fight card off losses, so it may put both in a must win situation.

Kimmons (23-6) has spent several fights in the UFC, amassing a 3-3 record overall. During his career with the UFC, Kimmons has alternated wins and losses, so he’ll look to keep that streak alive and pick up a victory in March.

Yang (9-1), a Korean born fighter, makes his second appearance in the UFC, and hopes to make the most of it. Yang lost in his debut fight for the promotion, a split decision to Chris Camozzi at UFC 121 in October 2010.

The bout between Kimmons and Yang is expected to be part of the untelevised preliminary portion of the show.

A new addition to the UFC's welterweight ranks.
Fortunately for me, the UFC hasn't taken it upon themselves to sign every available prospect on the market this week, leaving a little more time to focus on just who they have picked up. Namely, former RFA welterweight Alan Jouban, who was made an official part of the roster on Tuesday, July 8th with the announced fight between him and Seth Baczynski at UFC Fight Night: Bader vs. St. Preux on August 16th in Bangor, Maine.
