As a reminder, tickets for the UFC’s return to Cincinnati go on sale today.
UFC Fight Night 40 features a welterweight bout between Matt Brown (18-11 MMA, 11-5 UFC) and Erick Silva (16-4 MMA, 4-3 UFC) in the main event. Additionally, Constantinos Philippou (12-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC) meets Lorenz Larkin (14-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) in the co-main event.
UFC Fight Night 40 takes place May 10 at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati. It will be the UFC’s first trip to the city since 2007. The main card airs on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
UFC Fight Club members can purchase tickets today at 10 a.m. ET. In addition, UFC e-newsletter subscribers can purchase their tickets on Thursday at 10 a.m. ET. Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday through TIcketmaster or the U.S. Bank Arena box office at 10 a.m. ET. Prices range from $43 to $178, plus fees.
Brown, a native of Xenia, Ohio, who now trains out of Columbus, will headline his first UFC show. The welterweight contender looks for his seventh straight win when he takes on Silva, a frequent fight-night bonus winner who looks to build off a recent knockout win over Takenori Sato.
