As a reminder, tickets for the next live finale of “The Ultimate Fighter” go on sale to the general public today.
The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale takes place Dec. 3 at The Pearl at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The event airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass, though the bout order hasn’t been finalized.
In the headliner, flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson (24-2-1 MMA, 12-1-1 UFC), who’s No. 1 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA flyweight rankings (and No. 1 pound-for-pound), looks to defend his title against the winner of the Season 24 tournament of “TUF,” which currently airs Wednesday nights on FS1. The tourney field is made up of flyweight champions from other promotions around the world.
Tickets already went on sale to UFC Fight Club members and UFC.com e-newsletter subscribers. But everyone else can purchase seats today at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT local time in Las Vegas). The tickets range from $100 to $350, not including fees.
The card also features a key flyweight matchup between “TUF 24” coaches Joseph Benavidez (24-4 MMA, 11-2 UFC) and Henry Cejudo (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC), respectively No. 2 and No. 3 and both of whom have fought Johnson for the title. Benavidez is 0-2 against the champ, and Cejudo became Johnson’s most recent successful title defense at UFC 197 in April. The Benavidez-Cejudo winner could put himself in line to fight the winner of Johnson and the “TUF 24” tourney victor.
