Radio (noon ET): UFC's Ricardo Lamas and Joey Beltran, Phil Claud

ricardo-lamas-8.jpgMMAjunkie.com Radio today welcomes to the show UFC featherweight contender Ricardo Lamas, UFC Fight Night 29's Joey Beltran and MMA coach Phil Claud.

Lamas (13-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) is still waiting to find out what’s next for him. He was scheduled to meet Chan Sung Jung at UFC 162 in July, but “The Korean Zombie” was pulled from that fight to challenge for Jose Aldo‘s featherweight title. It’s a shot Lamas, with a four-fight winning streak, believes he should’ve gotten over the “Zombie,” and now he wants to be next in line.

Beltran (14-8-1 MMA, 3-5 UFC) will fight Fabio Maldonado next week at UFC Fight Night 29 in Brazil. It will be the first fight for “The Mexecutioner” since beating Igor Pokrajac this past December – a win that was overturned to a no-contest when Beltran tested positive for the banned steroid nandrolone.

And Claud, one of the MMA coaches at Sports Lab in Portland, will come on the show to talk about the team being built there and what’s next for some of his fighters.
