RFA 4 Update: Efrain Escudero-Tyson Griffin Named New Nov. 2 Headliner in Las Vegas

Former UFC talents Efrain Escudero and Tyson Griffin will headline the Resurrection Fighting Alliance’s upcoming fourth event.

Promotion officials recently announced the lightweight bout will serve as the RFA 4 headliner after Gilbert Yvel, who was supposed to face Marcio Cruz in the evening’s main event, withdrew from the show. Cruz will remain on the bill, now locking horns with Joe Yager on the main card. RFA 4 takes place Nov. 2 at Texas Station in Las Vegas and marks the Nebraska-based promotion’s first trip to Sin City. The show is expected to air live on AXS TV.

In the evening’s co-main event, welterweight prospect Chidi Njokuani will face “Filthy” Phil Dace, while Fredson Paixao meets Lance Palmer in a featherweight pairing that came about after original opponents Alessandro Ferreira and Nick Macias were scratched from the card due to injury.

Veterans James Krause and Dakota Cochrane will also compete that night, taking on Guilherme Trindade and Derrick Burnsed, respectively. Additionally, Roufusport prospect Sergio Pettis will see action against Jimmy Jones, while former NCAA Division I wrestling champion Steve Mocco makes his pro MMA debut against fellow heavyweight Tyler Perry.
