Jessamyn Duke is chalking up today’s brutal UFC Fight Night 45 loss, at least partially, to karma.

The 135-pounder suffered a first-round TKO loss to Leslie Smith after taking a series of punches and knees to the head and body, which included an especially effective punch to the ribs that set up the stoppage.

But according to Duke (3-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC), her night was doomed even before Smith (7-5-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) unloaded.

Soon after the fight, which aired on FOX Sports 1 from Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, Duke posted the above X-ray on her Instagram account. She apparently snapped a bone in her hand earlier in the bout.

As she wrote: “Prefight interview I said @lesliesmithmma had a brick head & could take a lot of punishment. Karma. #ufcfightnight45 #gunclub”
