peter-davis.jpgAsia’s ONE FC has added three bouts for this month’s “ONE FC 12: Warrior Spirit” event, including Peter Davis (6-3) vs. Alaa Mazloum (1-0), Saiful Merican (1-1) vs. Tok Sophon (1-0) and Leandro Ataides (5-0) vs. Brayan Rafiq (8-2).

The event takes place at Nov. 15 at Putra Indoor Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event streams in North America as an online pay-per-view and includes Adam Kayoom (4-1) vs. Nobutatsu Suzuki (10-1-2) for the ONE FC inaugural welterweight title.

“‘ONE FC 12: Warrior Spirit’ promises to be a night of adrenaline-pumping action that will have the Malaysian fans on the edge of their seats as ONE FC continues a multi-city tour across Asia,” ONE FC CEO Victor Cui stated. “Malaysian stars Peter Davis and Saiful Merican make their return to the ONE FC cage in front of a partisan Malaysian crowd. Both of them are hugely popular for their fighting style and their bouts could potentially be battling for ‘Fight of the Night’ honors.”

A four-time ONE FC veteran opened his career at 6-1 but has since dropped back-to-back fights. he looks to rebound against Mazloum, an Egyptian prospect who hopes to become the first man from that country to win at ONE FC.

While Merican is relatively new to MMA, he boasts more than 100 muay Thai contests. He faces Cambodian Sophor, a Khmer boxing specialist.

Brazilian Ataides is a six-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion who made his MMA debut in 2008. Undefeated in five professional appearances, four of those wins came by way of stoppage. Frenchman Rafiq returns to action after a three-year layoff. Six of his eight career wins came by submission, including his three most recent, which all ended by way of a choke.

With the addition to the lineup, ONE FC now includes:
