ONE Championship 32 highlights: Stick this one on your 'Fight of the Year' list

There’s a good chance the recent ONE Championship 32 headliner will be on many “Fight of the Year” lists come December.

During the Oct. 9 event at Putra Indoor Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Vitaly Bigdash (8-0) upset Igor Svirid (10-2) to become the organization’s new middleweight titleholder. The stunning come-from-behind victory featured no shortage of violence.

While “Fight of the Year” has already seen plenty of worthy candidates in 2015, including Robbie Lawler vs. Rory MacDonald at UFC 189 and Justin Gaethje vs. Luis Palomino II at WSOF 23, Bigdash vs. Svirid made a strong case as a candidate.

They also include Irina Mazepa’s (1-0) highlight-reel upset of flyweight Ann Osman (3-2), Ev Ting’s (9-4) quick submission of 147-pounder Honorio Banario (8-6), and Adrian Pang’s (22-8-2) beatdown of fellow lightweight Peter Davis (10-4).
