Nick Diaz Claims Someone Drugged Him Before Fighting Georges St-Pierre

Georges St-Pierre, you have some questions to answer.

Nick Diaz said last week to ESPN that someone drugged him ahead of his UFC 158 fight with GSP and that’s not cool, homie.

“When I fought Georges St-Pierre in Canada, first of all, somebody drugged me. That guy didn’t make weight. The commission comes up to me and tells me that he’s not going to make weight. Whether it was a pound, not a pound, it doesn’t matter. In Las Vegas, in where the fight should have been, they would have not only drug tested us but there’s no pound allowance so he would’ve had to make his full weight … There was something funny about that fight. I’m just saying, look, I didn’t get my fair shot. So I had to go through all sorts of drama, no breaks, three fights in a row. Just like always, three to five fights a year, and then finally they give me that fight … in Canada. Freezing-ass Canada, freezing-ass-cold Montreal where all kinds of funny stuff is going on.”

All KINDS of funny stuff, according to the Stocktonian; the kind of funny stuff that makes you want to piss the whole night and that’s exactly what Nick did.

His coach, Richard Perez, told Submission Radio recently that after some nurse (or someone close to GSP) gave Diaz something to take ahead of the fight, Nick was going to the bathroom a lot. Like, a LOT.

“Yeah, I remember that. Yeah I was there and it was Georges St-Pierre’s nurse or something, came down and he wanted to give Nick some kind of stuff. And I told Nick not to do it, but he gave it to him. So that’s what he’s talking about. I don’t know what it was. I’m not saying that it was a drug or anything, but I just know that he looked different (in the fight). He said he worked with Georges St-Pierre. He was up all night urinating. I mean he wasn’t feeling good because he was going to the bathroom a lot. I mean, I don’t know what it did, but I know he was going to the bathroom a lot, so it probably dehydrated him and drained him. I don’t know, but I just know I was sitting there and the guy wanted to give him something. I don’t know what it was for. I told him no, but he said it wouldn’t even hurt him. It was strange.”

Only in the fight game will someone who nobody knows come and give a fighter a mystery substance, and that same fighter just takes it because whatever. Never change, MMA.
