Next week's 'Bellator 131: Tito vs. Bonnar' lands U.K. TV deal on 5*

Next week’s star-packed final event Bellator MMA event of 2014 has landed the promotion’s first TV deal on the 5* network in the United Kingdom.

Bellator 131 takes place Nov. 15 at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego. The main card airs on Spike TV following prelims on Spike.com in the United States.

But in the U.K., the event will air on Nov. 16 at 9 p.m. BMT on the Viacom-owned 5*. It will be the first time a Bellator event will air on the British network. Viacom also owns Bellator.

In the main event of Bellator 131, UFC Hall of Famers Tito Ortiz and Stephan Bonnar meet in a heated grudge match, while interim champion Will Brooks and former champ Michael Chandler meet for the undisputed lightweight title in the co-feature. Additionally, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal and Melvin Manhoef are in action.

Tickets for the event currently are on sale at Bellator.com and AXS.com, as well as at the Valley View Casino Center box office.
