Marcin Held vs. Dave Jansen, Joey Beltran vs. Chase Gormley set for Bellator 155

A lightweight matchup of Marcin Held vs. Dave Jansen and a heavyweight contest of Joey Beltran vs. Chase Gormley have been added to May’s Bellator 155 event.

MMAjunkie today confirmed the two new bookings, which round out the evening’s five-fight main card, with a person with knowledge of the agreements. That person spoke in the condition of anonymity because the contests have not been officially announced by the promotion.

An official announcement is expected shortly.

Bellator 155 takes place May 20 at CenturyLink Arena in Boise. The main card airs on Spike following prelims on MMAjunkie. In the main event, middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho puts his belt on the line against Melvin Manhoef.

Held (21-4 MMA, 10-3 BMMA) returns to action after a failed November bid to unseat current Bellator lightweight champ Will Brooks. The loss snapped a six-fight winning streak for the 24-year-old Polish fighter, who already owns more than seven years of professional fighting experience despite his young age.

Meanwhile, “The Fugitive” Jansen (20-3 MMA, 7-1 BMMA) hasn’t seen action since April 2015, when he also came up short in a bid for Brooks’ belt. Prior to the loss, Jansen had earned seven consecutive wins in the Bellator cage, including a Season 7 tournament win.

Beltran (17-12 MMA, 2-3 BMMA) returns to the heavyweight division after a four-year run bouncing around between the light heavyweight and event middleweight divisions. He meets Gormley (12-5 MMA, 0-1 BMMA), who made his promotional debut in September but suffered a knockout loss to Dan Charles, ending a five-fight winning streak.

The official bout order for Bellator 155 has yet to be revealed, but the lineup currently includes:

• Dan Charles vs. Augusto Sakai
• Marcin Held vs. Dave Jansen
