Jessamyn Duke vs. Leslie Smith Added to UFC Fight Night Atlantic City

A women’s bantamweight bout between Jessamyn Duke and Leslie Smith will take place at UFC Fight Night 45, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

A report from the Glendale News Press initially said the match-up was added to the card, which takes place July 16 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Duke (3-1, 1 NC) is coming off her first loss, dropping a unanimous decision to Bethe Correia at UFC 172 this past April. The TUF 18 alumni is a training partner of UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.

Smith (6-5, 1 NC) is yet to earn a win inside of the UFC’s famed Octagon. On the losing end of two consecutive fights, Smith hasn’t seen a win since her Invicta FC days when she got a win over Jennifer Maia in July 2013.

UFC Fight Night Atlantic City is scheduled to be headlined by a lightweight fight between Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller.
