HOLLY-LUJAH! Check out Holly Holm's hometown paper celebrating her UFC 193 title win

“Albuquerque Journal” subscribers woke up this morning to headlines such as “HAPPY HOLLY DAY” and “HOLLY-LUJAH!”

It was some nice recognition from UFC 193 main-event winner Holly Holm’s hometown newspaper.

In Saturday’s UFC 193 pay-per-view headliner at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, massive underdog Holm (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) dethroned longtime women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) via second-round knockout. It was a simply superb performance against the sport’s biggest star and, until Saturday, most dominant female bantamweight fighter.
