Friday's Invicta FC 10 event loses Irene Aldana vs. Marion Reneau

Friday’s Invicta FC 10 event has lost a fight after Irene Aldana (4-1) was recently hospitalized with a severe case of bronchitis, officials announced Monday.

As a result, her bout with fellow bantamweight Marion Reneau (4-1) will be moved to a currently unannounced early-2015 date.

Invicta FC 10 takes place at Arena Theatre in Houston, and the entire card streams on UFC Fight Pass. With the loss of Aldana vs. Reneau, the event now features nine fights.

Aldana, a 26-year-old Mexican fighter, recently made her promotional debut and submitted Peggy Morgan at Invicta FC 8. Her opponent, Reneau, was a recent RFA fighter who was slatted to make her Invicta FC debut while looking for a fourth straight victory.

With the change, the full Invicta FC 10 lineup now includes:

• Champ Michelle Waterson vs. Herica Tiburcio – for atomweight title
• Cindy Dandois vs. Tonya Evinger
• Andrea K. Lee vs. Roxanne Modafferi
• DeAnna Bennett vs. Jennifer Maia

• Peggy Morgan vs. Andria Wawro
• Alexa Grasso vs. Alida Gray
• Cassie Robb vs. Jinh Yu Frey
• Evva Johnson vs. Rachael Ostovich
