Banario checked in at 144.7 pounds, while Oishi tipped the scales slightly heavier at 144.8. One FC 9 “Rise to Power” takes place May 31 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Philippines, and will also see former Dream titlist Bibiano Fernandes (134.4) face Koetsu Okazaki (134.4) for the interim bantamweight championship in the co-main event.

The evening’s main draw streams live on pay-per-view at www.onefc.livesport.tv and will also showcase a bantamweight grand prix final between ex-Shooto champion Masakatsu Ueda (134.6) and Kevin Belingon (134), as well as a flyweight conflict pitting another former Shooto titlist in Yasuhiro Urushitani (124.7) against reigning URCC pinweight king Rey Docyogen (124.7).

UFC veterans Phil Baroni (169) and Kamal Shalorus (154.2) will also compete on the main card, taking on Nobutatsu Suzuki (169.4) and Eduard Folayang (154.4), respectively. Although the event takes place live on Friday night in the Philippines, the show will air early Friday morning for American viewers due to the time difference, beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET/3:30 a.m. PT.
