Those around him may lament the loss of a promised title shot, but Anthony Pettis refuses to dwell on the what-ifs. The final WEC lightweight champion and would-be top UFC contender opted to take a fight with Clay Guida rather than wait on the sidelines for a shot at the gold. Guida derailed Pettis' momentum with a grinder-like performance at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale on Saturday. But Pettis isn't a regretful guy.

it was a disappointed and boring fight....if the UFC have fights like these, i am going to stop watching once and for all... becoming more like boxing where the referee have to keep on splitting the fighter for holding and same with take down; well at least Guida didn't get someone who would mess up face mess up this time!

I think these kind of fights are bad for the sport... just holding a guy down for 15 mins n have a win is not good... i heard ppl saying Jackson camp is bad for the sport.. nope the problem is in the UFC rules... rules need to be changed for the betterment of the sport... there should be yellow n red cards...then i wud see how fighters like FITCH/GAY Guida winning like this?????
