UFC president Dana White is none too happy about the news that Alistair Overeem tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone prior to his fight at UFC 146 . White was on a media conference call on Wednesday with members of the Canadian press when he learned about Overeem’s test results. Overeem, along with five other athletes fighting at UFC 146, were surprise tested following the pre-fight press conference as part of Nevada’s out of competition testing program.

What about the guy who cheats and gets away with it (at least most of the time), and ends up richer and happier for it?

I'm not condoning cheating, I'm just saying... cheaters do sometimes, if not often, prosper.

Overeem's name is so big now, and his skills well established as being very good, that he could still get big contracts even if he never touches banned substances again.

I'm so dissapointed this fight isn't going to happen (in all probability). However, I am glad that Dos Santos doesn't have to fight someone who uses steroids, especially because he is such a nice guy. I don't like Mir's chances against Dos Santos... Mir just doesn't seem that quick on his feet, and his wrestling just don't seem good enough to be able to deal with Dos Santos's great striking, speed, and takedown defense. It's amazing he's been fighting for so long since that motorcycle accident.
