Countdown to UFC 162: Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman (Video)


UFC 162 Poster-BLUE-478x270The Ultimate Fighting Championship hosts its annual Independence Day weekend card in Las Vegas with UFC 162: Silva vs. Weidman on Saturday.

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva faces undefeated Chris Weidman in the main event in a middleweight title bout.

Former UFC lightweight titleholder Frankie Edgar fights Charles Oliveira in a featherweight match-up in the co-main event.

Also on the card, featherweight contenders Cub Swanson and Dennis Siver square off in a bout that will move one of them a step closer to a title fight.

The card also features the promotional debuts of Strikeforce standouts Tim Kennedy and Roger Gracie.
