Trash-talking Irish UFC featherweight Conor McGregor may have finally gone too far.
McGregor established himself as one of the UFC's most talked-about stars since signing with the promotion in early 2013 with his quick tongue and overflowing confidence, but his latest attempt to kick dirt at his opponent may result in a mudslide.
Currently slated to face Russian-born German fighter Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night 59 in Boston, McGregor looked to crank the intensity of the bout on Twitter, but he may have broken the knob in the process.
Realizing his mistake, McGregor quickly deleted the tweet.
Unfortunately for him, the Internet exists, and people are quick to save things like this.
Reddit bot TweetPoster caught this while B/R's own Jeremy Botter retweeted the original message, capturing the text but not the picture that accompanied it.

In addition, a screenshot was posted (embedded above) to photo-hosting site Imgur, and other MMA outlets such as Bloody Elbow and MMA Mania also caught the Irishman's lapse in judgement.
McGregor himself either received a phone call or realized his mistake, too, as he scrapped the tweet then followed it up with these (in order).

Calling somebody a Nazi is unacceptable. There's a line between trash-talking and inappropriate behavior, and McGregor triple-jumped it.
The follow-ups, while significantly less offensive than the original tweet, really don't help matters, either. Saying "I'm sowwy" almost fuels the fire, even. It shows that he's not genuinely sorry, merely offering a halfhearted apology to keep the masses off his back.
That shouldn't work for him. He shouldn't receive a pass just because he's Conor McGregor, and the UFC will undoubtedly need to sit down with its favorite Irish superstar and have a nice chat about social media (and human being) guidelines.
He's clearly forgotten them somewhere along the way.
