Chris Camozzi vs. Buddy Roberts On Tap for UFC 150 in Denver

Chris Camozzi will get the chance to fight in his home state of Colorado as he’s been added to UFC 150 against Jackson’s MMA fighter Buddy Roberts.

Sources close to the match-up confirmed the bout to MMAWeekly.com on Sunday with bout agreements issues for the August showdown.

A resident of Colorado, former Ultimate Fighter competitor Chris Camozzi is one of the many local fighters hoping to land a spot on his home state card coming up and now he’s getting his wish.

Camozzi is currently riding a two fight win streak in the Octagon with victories over Dustin Jacoby and Nick Catone.

Facing Camozzi in Denver will be Greg Jackson student Buddy Roberts, who now looks to go to 2-0 in the UFC after a successful debut back in June at UFC on FX 3.

Roberts is a long time member of the Jackson’s family where he also serves as a lead instructor in different programs at the facility and has amassed a 12-2 record overall in his career.

The fight between Camozzi and Roberts is expected to land on the FX preliminary portion of the UFC 150 fight card set to land in Denver on Aug 11.
