Cejudo-Page, Bush-Narvaez Title Bouts Books for Legacy FC 32 on AXS TV

A flyweight title affair has been booked for Legacy Fighting Championship 32, as Damacio Page will collide with Henry Cejudo for the vacant belt live on AXS TV.

Legacy promoter Mick Maynard Wednesday announced the matchup, which takes place June 13 at Houston’s Arena Theatre and will additionally feature a middleweight title showdown pitting reigning champion Bubba Bush against the undefeated Roger Narvaez.

An Olympic gold medalist in freestyle wrestling, Cejudo has been perfect in his MMA career but failed to make the flyweight limit for his most recent outing, which was contested at 128 pounds. Cejudo nevertheless walked away with the victory on Jan. 31, weathering some early offense from Elias Garcia to score a unanimous decision win at LFC 27.

Page, 31, competed for years under the Zuffa umbrella but was released by the UFC in 2012 following four straight defeats. Since that time, “The Angel of Death” has gone 2-1, most recently stopping Matthew Lozano on Feb. 21 at LFC 28.

Bush, 28, captured the LFC middleweight belt last July and successfully defended the title at LFC 28, submitting Rakim Cleveland with a second-round rear-naked choke to retain the championship this past February.

Narvaez, meanwhile, has yet to stumble in his six-fight pro career. The 30-year-old most recently competed in September, when he took a split verdict from Hayward Charles at LFC 23.
