Bellator 105 video highlights: Brooks avenges, 'Tiger' devastates Tirloni

A pair of fighters punched their tickets to Bellator’s Season 9 lightweight tournament final on Friday – one in dominant fashion to avenge his only loss, and one in highlight-reel fashion.

Will Brooks got caught and stopped by Saad Awad when the two first met in the Season 8 tourney semifinals. It was his first loss. But he avenged it perfectly, getting a unanimous decision sweep to move into his first tournament final.

In the first semifinal, Alexander Sarnavskiy landed a big spinning back fist, and “Tiger” pounced on Ricardo Tirloni. He locked up a guillotine choke, then transitioned to a triangle and it took just 68 seconds for him to finish and move into the tourney final against Brooks next month.

The first two fights on the main card had big finishes, as well. No one probably expected Siala-Mou Siliga to go to the ground with Ron Sparks, instead expecting a heavyweight slugfest between the former training partners. But “Mighty Mo” stayed unbeaten in Bellator by stopping Sparks with a first-round keylock. And Eugene Fadiora made his Bellator debut in impression fashion, patiently waiting for his moment to jump all over the free-swinging Keith Berry. It paid off with a second-round stoppage.
