Bart Palaszewski will get his wish to fight in Indianapolis at the UFC on FX 5 card headed there in September.

Palaszewski will face off with former top featherweight contender Diego Nunes in a bout on the UFC on FX 5 card.

Sources close to the match-up confirmed the bout to MMAWeekly.com on Friday. MMAJunkie.com first reported the match-up.

Ever since the FX card headed to Indianapolis was announced, Indiana native Bart Palaszewski has been itching to get on the card. His Twitter campaign apparently worked and now he’ll get to fight in his home state.

Facing Palaszewski in September will be Nova Uniao product Diego Nunes.

A promising title contender just a few fights ago, Nunes has gone 1-2 in his last three fights, but now tries to get his footing back when he faces Palaszewski in September.

While UFC officials have confirmed the Indianapolis FX card, no fights have been announced outside of the confirmation of Palaszewski vs. Nunes.

Expect more bouts to be announced in the coming days.
