Armed Forces Entertainment to broadcast MMAjunkie.com Radio during MMA SWA Tour

mmajunkie-radio-logo.jpgWashington, DC (September 19, 2013) – Armed Forces Entertainment will send mixed martial arts fighters and MMA radio hosts to visit U.S. soldiers in Southwest Asia for 11 days of entertainment during the MMA SWA tour taking place in October. MMA cutman Jacob “Stitch” Duran and fighters Renzo Gracie, Jake Ellenberger and Amir Sadollah are scheduled for the tour along with MMAjunkie.com Radio hosts, and brothers, Brian “Goze” Garcia and “Gorgeous” George Garcia.

As an extra special part of this tour, the MMAjunkie.com Radio show will broadcast live from Southwest Asia via www.mmajunkie.com, also available via iTunes, UStream.tv and RSS.

Of the upcoming trip, Goze says it’s an opportunity of a lifetime: “Having more than a few members of my family in the military, it has always been a regret of mine that I didn’t serve in the U.S. military. I feel blessed that Armed Forces Entertainment has given me this platform to make a difference in the lives of so many brave men and women who make it possible for me to live out my dreams.”

His brother George goes on to say, “As a proud American, I’m honored to be able to visit the troops overseas and support them in any way possible. We are lucky to be able to cover the great sport of mixed martial arts in great part because of the brave men and women who protect our freedom on a daily basis.”

The sporting tour will allow troops the opportunity to step out of their daily routines to enjoy meet and greets with fighters and radio hosts, special demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and special contests.

The MMA SWA tour will completely engage the soldiers into the MMA world, a very popular sport among the soldiers in Southwest Asia and continue the tradition of sending sports, comedic, or musical talent to entertain the troops.
