Anderson Silva and Ronda Rousey Among UFC Twitter Bonus Winners

Anderson Silva and Ronda RouseyThe UFC on Friday announced its latest round of Twitter bonuses, which it hands out to fighters on a quarterly basis to encourage their participation in social networking circles.

There are typically four winners in each of three categories.

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva was once again a bonus winner for most followers, but joining him this time were his next opponent, Chael Sonnen; UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson; and Strikeforce fighter Joe Duarte.

The fighters with the biggest growth percentage in followers this quarter were Frankie Edgar, Alistair Overeem, and dual winners Benson Henderson and Joe Duarte.

The four bonuses handed out for most creative tweets went to Jason “Mayhem” Miller, Dan Hardy, Kenny Florian, and Ronda Rousey.

Each of the winners was awarded a $5,000 bonus for each award they earned.
