A man of his word: UFC commentator Jon Anik gets '209' tattoo

A bet’s a bet, and Jon Anik just paid in full after losing big on Nate Diaz.

A nice big “209” now resides on the UFC commentator’s skin after he picked against Diaz (19-10 MMA, 14-8 UFC) in his welterweight headliner opposite featherweight champ Conor McGregor (19-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) at past Saturday’s UFC 196 in Las Vegas.

We’re not sure whether it’s Anik’s arm or calf in this Instagram picture, but we’re fairly confident no one will miss it on a summer day.

Of course, it was probably in Anik’s best interest to appease Diaz, who vowed to slap him senseless in the event he didn’t get inked.

Anik wasn’t immediately available for comment when contacted by MMAjunkie. But still, kudos to the UFC commentator for following through.
