A Sol Kwon vs. Giovanni Diniz Headlines Saturday’s Road FC – Korea 3: Korea vs. Brazil

Road FC Championship BeltRoad FC’s hectic 2014 schedule continues with another event this Saturday in the Road FC – Korea series. Three Brazilians will be taking on local fighters at the Hilton Convention Centre in Seoul with A Sol Kwon facing Giovanni Diniz in the main event.

Kwon (17-8) is 1-1 since returning from military service and signing with Road FC. He was stopped in the second round by Koji Nakamura last October in what was his first fight in over two years, but bounced back to submit debutant Mostafa Abdollahi earlier this year.

The eccentric lightweight faces another major challenge when he takes on Diniz (21-7), who trains alongside the likes of Renan Barao and Jose Aldo at Nova Uniao and has won 12 out of his last 14 fights.

In the co-main event Jae Hoon Moon (5-5) also faces a very tough test against a Brazilian in the shape of Thiago Luis Bonifacio Silva (5-2), who will be fighting outside of his homeland for the first time in his five-year career.

The final Brazil vs Korea matchup is the most lopsided looking of all and lightweight Won Gi Kim (1-4-1) will presumably have a point to prove as well as a three fight losing streak to snap when he takes on Bruno Miranda (5-1).

Another Korean given a surprisingly tough assignment is Yong Seok Ko (0-2), who will be looking for his first career win when he takes on the comparatively experienced Japanese bantamweight Ryohei Tsujikawa (6-1-3), who is riding a six fight-winning streak.

The ten fights on the card include a WMMMA match-up between Jewels veteran Seo Hee Ham (12-5) and American based Japanese fighter Shino VanHoose (3-2), who will be returning to the cage after an 18-month absence.

The main card of Road FC – Korea 3: Korea vs. Brazil will cost 9.99 USD to view online and can be purchased from: http://www.ustream.tv/roadfc
