The quarterly “UFC Road to the Octagon” preview show returns Sunday to spotlight the upcoming UFC on FOX 15 middleweight showdown between contenders Lyoto Machida and Luke Rockhold.
The event takes place April 18 at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The main card airs on FOX following prelims on FOX and UFC Fight Pass.
“UFC Road to the Octagon” debuts Sunday at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT, though you should check your local listings since the times may vary in certain locations.
Replays air throughout the following week on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2.
The show will preview the Machida (22-5 MMA, 14-5 UFC) vs. Rockhold (13-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) headliner. UFC on FOX 15 also will include a rescheduled bout between middleweights Yoel Romero (9-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and Ronaldo Souza (21-3 MMA, 4-0 UFC); a featherweight matchup between Cub Swanson (21-6 MMA, 6-2 UFC) and Max Holloway (12-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC); and a women’s strawweight bout between Paige VanZant (4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Felice Herrig (10-5 MMA, 1-0 UFC).
The “Road to the Octagon” show traditionally goes behind the scenes with the fighters at home and in the gym ahead of their network-televised fights.
