In addition to the previously announced co-headliners, December’s “Legacy FC 26: Garcia vs. Aguilar” fight card has taken shape with a number of additions.
Legacy FC 26 takes place Dec. 6 at Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, and the main card airs on AXS TV.
As previously announced, UFC and WEC vet Leonard Garcia (17-11-1) meets Kevin Aguilar (8-0) in the headliner, and the winner earns the organization’s vacant featherweight title. In the co-headliner, undefeated Thomas Almeida (14-0) meets fellow 145-pounder George Pacurariu (5-2).
As promoted Mick Maynard confirmed with MMAjunkie.com, additional main-card bouts include welterweights Joseph Daily (5-5) vs. Chris Lopez (3-0), bantamweights John Hester (3-0) vs. Johnny Ray Rodriguez (4-1), featherweights James King (15-14) vs. Chris Pecero (9-5), and flyweights Brandon Ruiz (3-1) vs. C.J. Vergara (3-0).
The untelevised prelims include bantamweights Billy Buch (3-2) vs. Albert Martinez, featherweights Dimitre Ivy (2-2) vs. Matt Mazurek (2-2), light heavyweights Daniel Jolly (3-0) vs. Matt Steward (1-0), and featherweights Dave Siller (0-1) vs. Kevin Troyer (2-2). Additionally, flyweight Daniel Pinheiro (1-0) will fight an as-yet undetermined opponent.
