'Korean Zombie' vs. Dennis Bermudez official for UFC Fight Night 104 headliner in Houston

A slew of new matchups have been added to the UFC Fight Night 104 card in Houston over Super Bowl weekend, including a main event that will see former featherweight title challenger Chan Sung Jung return from a hiatus of what will be three and a half years to fight Dennis Bermudez.

The matchup pitting Jung (13-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) against Bermudez (16-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC), along with several other bouts, were announced on tonight’s TUF 24 Finale broadcast on FS1. The headliner was first reported by MMAFighting.com.

UFC Fight Night 104 takes place Feb. 4 at Toyota Center in Houston. The card airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass, though the bout order hasn’t been finalized.

Chan Sung Jung

Jung hasn’t competed since a title-fight loss to Jose Aldo at UFC 163 in August 2013. The South Korean fighter’s MMA career was then put on pause when he was required to complete two years of mandatory military service in his country.

Bermudez, meanwhile, gets his first UFC main-event opportunity on the heels of a two-fight winning streak that saw him beat Rony Jason at UFC Fight Night 92 in August and Tatsuya Kawajiri at UFC Fight Night 83 in February.

Also set for the main card broadcast is a strawweight bout between undefeated prospect Alexa Grasso (9-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Felice Herrig (11-6 MMA, 2-1 UFC); a lightweight bout between Evan Dunham (18-6 MMA, 11-6 UFC) and Abel Trujillo (15-6 MMA, 6-2 UFC); a light heavyweight contest between Ovince Saint Preux (19-9 MMA, 7-4 UFC) and Jan Blachowicz (19-6 MMA, 2-3 UFC); as well as a heavyweight fight between Justin Ledet (8-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Dmitriy Sosnovskiy (10-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC).

Confirmed for the preliminary portion of the event were a lightweight fight between James Vick (9-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) and Johnny Case (22-5 MMA, 4-1 UFC); a featherweight pairing between Chas Skelly (16-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) and Chris Gruetzemacher (13-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC); and a heavyweight fight between Adam Milstead (8-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Curtis Blaydes (6-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC).

With the additions, the UFC Fight Night 104 card now includes:
