Northern Nevada's premier cage fighting event returned with "Ultimate Reno Combat 33" with 3 titles on the line at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. It was another example of why URC was named the #1 Amateur Event in the Nation.
In the main event, Brandon Costa (5-1) defeated Brad Robasciotti (3-2) via TKO in round one to regain his URC Light Heavyweight Title. The bout was an immediate rematch as Robasciotti was victorious in the last bout defeating Costa via TKO in round 4 and winning the title from him. Costa left little doubt this time as he got to extract a bit of revenge on the only man to ever beat him. Both men wrestled in the clinch for most of the round, each man looking for an opening for a takedown. But then Costa landed a short punch out of nowhere dropping Robasciotti to the mat.
