July 3, 2015 - M-1 Challenge 59 event was held at Kazakhstan sport palace in Astana, Kazakhstan. The main event of the evening was the rematch between the former M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Kenny garner and top MMA star Sergey Kahritonov. Their first fight was on November 25, 2014 in Beijing at the first M-1 event in the capital of China. In the first round American fighter stuck to his gameplan, he managed to take Sergey down and tried to finish him there. However, Russian withstood the attack and started to fight his was in the second round, in stand-up exchanges. Garner accepted this challenge bravely and he did his best to survive under the barrage of punches, but the fight was stopped in the middle of the third round by the doctor due to many cut and serious damage absorbed by Garner.
