On Monday, the UFC unveiled the new poster showcasing the headliners: Jones, the heavyweight champion, and former titleholder Miocic. This highly anticipated event is scheduled for November 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Initially, this matchup was slated for UFC 295 in November, but Jones withdrew due to injury. "Bones" is set to make his return after a 20-month hiatus since winning the heavyweight title with a first-round submission of Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 in March 2023.
Miocic's layoff is even longer; he last fought in March 2021 when he lost the heavyweight title to Francis Ngannou at UFC 260. Miocic aims to secure his first win in over four years.
In the meantime, an exciting featherweight title fight is set for UFC 308
