Bout 7 Bernardo Fanti vs Matt Kaufmann This bout was in the 170 pound bracket and from the opening bell it was Bernardo Fanti that was the agressor and landed several techniques at will. Matt Kaufmann began to land a little bit when the first round came to a halt. Round one went to Fanti. During the break Brian Zehler, cornering for Kaufmann belted out some intense instructions and it paid off. In the second round Kaufmann looked like a different fighter and began to land uppercuts, and punch combinations with spinning back fists. The two fighters wnet back and forth and round two was over. From the start of round three both fighters looked fatigued but it appeared that perhaps Fanti had lost a step to to the frantic pace of the first two rounds. Both fighters were swinging rather wildly toward the end of round three and the bell sounded. MAtt Kaufmann scored the victory by decision.
