(November 14, 2020) Unbeaten cruiserweight Efetobor Apochi (10-0, 10 KOs) kept his record perfect by dropping Leesburg, Virginia’s Joe Jones (11-3, 8 KOs) three times and stopping him at 0:51 of round three. The 32-year-old Apochi, who now trains with renowned coach Ronnie Shields in Texas, dropped Jones for a nine count with a left hook late in round one. He moved his bruising attack downstairs in round two, hurting Jones with a left hook to the body before dropping him with a huge right hand for another nine count, late in round two. However, moving in for the kill, Apochi was briefly shaken by a surprising Jones right hand that allowed him to last through the round.
