Following Saturday night’s World Series of Fighting 9 event in Las Vegas, the promotion has laid out plans for its summer line-up.
WSOF 10 will take place on June 21 at the Event Center at San Jose State University in San Jose, Calif. The card will be headlined by two title fights. Georgi Karakhanyan will put his featherweight championship on the line against Rick Glenn, while David Branch and Jesse Taylor fight for the inaugural middleweight title.
WSOF 11 will then take place in July, although a date and venue have not yet been announced. That card will feature newly crowned welterweight champ Rousimar Palhares putting his belt up against Jon Fitch, lightweight titleholder Justin Gaethje defending against Nick Newell, and a feature fight with Tyrone Spong against an opponent yet to be determined.
The promotion picks up at the end of the summer and heads to Japan for the first time for WSOF 12. That card, slated for Aug. 2, will likely be headlined by Top 10 ranked middleweight Yushin Okami challenging the winner of the Branch vs. Taylor title fight.
