OK, it’s still three weeks away, but come on. Who isn’t already thinking about the UFC 205 headliner between lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez and featherweight champ Conor McGregor.
So in this lull between UFC events, we decided to go ahead and start asking fellow fighters to give us their predictions.
UFC 205 takes place Nov. 12 at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
In the headliner, Alvarez (28-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC), who’s No. 8 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA pound-for-pound rankings, puts his belt on the line against McGregor (20-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC), who checks in at No. 5.
So, who wins? Can McGregor make history as the first man to hold two UFC titles simultaneously? Or will Alvarez end the hype?
