Rousimar Palhares notched his first title defense – and his 11th leg-lock submission in 16 career wins – after tapping out Jon Fitch in Saturday’s WSOF 16 headliner.
Palhares (17-6), WSOF’s reigning welterweight champion, needed just 90 seconds to submit rival Fitch (26-7-1) with a kneebar.
The event headlined Saturday’s NBCSN-televised event at McClellan Conference Center in Sacramento, Calif.
