Video: Yao Zhikui's arm takes nasty bend during slam-KO loss

SEOUL – Yeah, arms aren’t supposed to bend that way, as Yao Zhikui learned the hard during today’s UFC Fight Night 79 event.

Zhikui (2-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) quickly charged forward with a burst of strikes, but Fredy Serrano (3-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) scooped him up and slammed him to the mat. As Zhikui looked to brace himself from the fall, his right arm badly bent and forced the referee’s intervention.

The flyweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 79 event at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass.
