Sure, the major focus of this week’s UFC 205 event is the headlining matchup between lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez and featherweight title holder Conor McGregor, but there’s a fantastic strawweight title fight, as well.

Champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) puts her belt on the line against fellow undefeated Polish product Karolina Kowalkiewicz (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) at UFC 205 in a fight that has national pride up for grabs in addition to a title.

Jedrzejczyk has quickly become a fan-favorite, with her aggressive, striking-based style a true pleasure to watch. But Kowalkiewicz has proven a viable contender, keeping her record unblemished during three UFC appearances, including a hard-fought UFC 201 decision over fellow contender Rose Namajunas.

UFC 205 takes place Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and the main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
