Video: Watch Chicago native Curtis Blaydes crush Cody East's head with elbows at UFC Fight Night 96

If Curtis Blaydes is on top of you landing elbows, chances are you’re in big trouble.

That’s what Cody East found out on Saturday night in their heavyweight fight at UFC Fight Night 96. Late in the second round, a Blaydes takedown – his latest in a bunch – led him to the opportunity to rain down elbows to the side of East’s head for a TKO win.

Check out the way Blaydes (6-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) took out East (12-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) in the video above from UFC Fight Night 96 event at Moda Center in Portland, Ore. Their fight streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims on FS2 and a main card on FS1.

Blaydes got back in the win column and got his first victory in the UFC. East lost for the second straight time since signing with the UFC.
