Video: Meet the 2 UFC vets who are the kings of fight-night bonuses

It takes thrilling and dominant performances to pick up UFC fight-night bonuses, and two veterans have proven kings of the system.

In fact, combined, they’ve earned approximately $1.5 million in additional disclosed pay.

Check out the above video as we look at the all-time top-10 list for UFC bonus winners.

After each event and beginning in early 2014, UFC officials began dishing out two “Fight of the Night” bonuses and two “Performance of the Night” bonuses for each event worth $50,000 each. The organization previously handed out “Fight of the Night,” “Knockout of the Night” and “Submission of the Night” bonuses, ranging from $20,000 to a record-setting $129,000 for 2011’s historical UFC 129 stadium show in Toronto.

Vets Nate Diaz and Joe Lauzon have picked up a record 15 bonuses each – two more than Anderson Silva and Donald Cerrone. In fact, among the all-time top 10, only one fighter – Chris Lytle – isn’t still an active competitor.

Here’s the full top-10 list (not displaying properly?):
