Video: Hendricks, fighters send thanks to troops before UFC Fight Night 31

Ahead of the UFC’s latest “Fight for the Troops” card, a group of UFC fighters put together a video to send their thanks to members of the military.

“UFC Fight Night 31: Fight for the Troops 3? takes place Wednesday at Fort Campbell in Kentucky, and the card features several UFC military members, including Tim Kennedy, Liz Carmouche and Colton Smith.

In advance of the card, fighters including Johny Hendricks, Jim Miller, Joe Lauzon and Jorge Masvidal, as well as active-duty soldier Colton Smith, George Roop and James Krause – all of whom fight on Wednesday’s show – sent out their shout-outs to the troops.

Wednesday’s card is the UFC’s third official troops show after previous cards in North Carolina and Fort Hood, Texas. The events help raise money for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which supports wounded military members and veterans, as well as the families of troops lost in service.

Wednesday’s show has a main card on FOX Sports 1 (7 p.m. ET) with prelims on FOX Sports 1 (5 p.m. ET) and MMAjunkie.com (3:15 p.m. ET).
