Video: Headliner Dominick Cruz arrives to UFC workouts on crutches

BOSTON – Fans and media in attendance at UFC Fight Night 81 open workouts got a bit of a scare from headliner Dominick Cruz.

Cruz (20-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC), a former champion who meets reigning bantamweight titleholder T.J. Dillashaw (12-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) in Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 81 headliner, arrived today at Boston’s UFC Gym on crutches. However, after a few gasps and worried looks, Cruz entered the cage and channeled his inner candy man (via Twitter):

For now, the FOX Sports 1-televised title fight, which takes place at Boston’s TD Garden, is still a go.
