Video: A look at the reemergence of Xtreme Couture

Despite its unofficial label as the fight capital of the world, Las Vegas wasn’t always a home to MMA’s top fighters. But Xtreme Couture helped change that.

Namesake and former UFC champion Randy Couture opened the world-class facility in 2006 and was soon welcoming some of the sport’s biggest names to the facility.

But when Couture retired and a bevy of fighters later left for other camps, the gym’s future seemed uncertain. But as the UFC Hall of Famer’s son, UFC/Strikeforce vet Ryan Couture, discusses in the above video (produced by our partners at Shoot Media), the gym is again becoming a popular destination. Vitor Belfort, Brad Tavares, Matt Mitrione, Miesha Tate and other big-show vets are now regulars at Xtreme Couture.

Check it out above as the younger Couture discusses the gym.
