Rafael dos Anjos vs. Evan Dunham

Round 1: Dunham takes the center of the cage. Dos Anjos lands first with a leg kick.  Dos Anjos lands a left hand.  He moves in and out.  Dunham counters a leg kick with a right hand followed by an outside leg kick.  They exchange stiff jabs.  Dos Anjos goes to the body with a right hand.  Dos Anjos is getting the better of the exchanges early.  He delivers a straight right to the body of Dunham.  Dos Anjos lands a leg kick but Dunham catches it and gets the fight to the ground.  He chips away at the body of dos Anjos with punches.  The referee stands them up.  They exchange at the bell.  Close round.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Dunham.

Round 2: Dunham delivers an outside leg kick to start the second round.  He ducks under a right hand by dos Anjos and secures a takedown.  Dos Anjos gets back to his feet and they separate.  Dos Anjos lands a right hook to the body of Dunham.  He changes levels and works for a takedown.  Dos Anjos gives up on the takedown and lands a right hand on the break.  They exchange left hands.  Dos Anjos lands a solid left hand.  Dos Anjos clinches and lands a knee.  Dunham sticks his jab in dos Anjos’ face.  Dos Anjos is cut. Dunham starting to find his range.  He pressures dos Anjos.  Dos Anjos lands to the body.  Dunham jumps in with a flying knee.  Dos Anjos counters with a combination.  Dunham secures a late takedown.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Dunham.

Round 3: Dunham continues to pressure dos Anjos.  Dunham lands his jab.  They exchange.  Dunham changes levels and works for a takedown.  Dos Anjos stuffs it and they trade punches to the body in the clinch before separating.  Dos Anjos delivers a hard kick to the body, and another.  Dunham steps in with a combination.  Dos Anjos jumps in with a knee.  Dunham clinches and lands an uppercut.  They exchange along the cage.  Dunham looks for a takedown, but dos Anjos defends the attempt.  Dunham lands to the body and dos Anjos answers with a knee.  They slug it out.  Dunham landing more often.  Another close round.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Dunham but at least two rounds could have gone either way.

The judges scores the fight for dos Anjos by unanimous decision.  All three scorecards read 29-28.
